With over 25 years of clinical experience, John Zastawrny, PT, DPT, founded Integrated Physical Therapy with one clear mission: deliver results-driven care that helps patients move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they love—without unnecessary delays.
A graduate of Damen University (2000), John earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008 and has built his practice around highly skilled, hands-on manual therapy combined with individualized treatment planning. His approach focuses on identifying the true root cause of pain—not just treating symptoms—so patients experience lasting improvement.
John specializes in treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including:
- Athletic and sports injuries
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Neck and back pain
- Shoulder, ankle, elbow, wrist, and hand injuries
- TMJ (jaw) dysfunction
By combining advanced manual therapy techniques with targeted corrective exercise, John helps patients reduce pain faster, restore mobility, and confidently return to work, sports, and everyday life.
He has pursued extensive post-graduate training in advanced treatment methods, including the Mulligan Concept, Graston Technique, McKenzie Method, Primal Reflex Release Technique (PRRT), coursework with Stanley Paris, Associated Awareness Technique, and numerous other specialized programs. His commitment to continuing education ensures that patients receive modern, evidence-informed care tailored to their specific goals.
Outside the clinic, John is a dedicated husband to Kellie and father to Grayson and Kathryn. As an active golfer, runner, and fitness enthusiast, he understands firsthand the importance of staying active—and brings that same passion to helping his patients do the same.
